Toni-Lee
After a difficult childhood in care, Toni-Lee reached out to her former social worker Judith, a Christian, when she became guardian to her baby sister at 19. At Judith’s church, she found belonging amongst broken people like her. Reading the Bible helped her see she’d been living for both the world and Christ — so she chose to follow him fully.
Ben

Salome
Trafficked from Portugal into the sex industry, Salome met a Christian friend who invited her to church in London. Hearing John 4, she turned from witchcraft and trusted Jesus. That same day she escaped her abusive partner and found safety. Salome now helps other women find freedom in Christ.

Through prayer and poetry, Tari wrestled with doubt and learned to trust in God. Tari now lives in Manchester with his wife and son, sharing his faith and his culture.
Sophie
Sophie grew up opposed to Christianity, blaming it for every problem she saw in the world. At university, a Christian Union talk moved her deeply. For the first time, she realised it was possible to be both sinned against and a sinner. During the Covid lockdown, she began reading John’s Gospel and found faith in Jesus.
Ian
Ian’s life was consumed by drink and drugs until his brother-in-law’s prayers broke through years of resistance. Seeing his sin and need for grace, Ian turned to Christ. Later his wife did too. Now they serve in their Welsh valley church, sharing hope with others.
Josh
Raised Sikh and scarred by racism in a Christian primary school, Josh rejected Christianity. Struggling with mental health and searching for truth, he studied many faiths before realising only Jesus brings heaven down to us. Josh now lives in Oxford with his wife and is currently studying Theology.
